Our client in northern, RI has a perm/direct hire opening for an experienced Mechanical Engineer with automation experience. In this role you would be leading 1-2 other Mechanical Engineers. This is not a manager role, but a lead contributor position responsible for design, documentation, and testing.
- BS degree in Mechanical Engineering with 5+ years experience
- Experience with Solidworks is required
- 3D printing, general machine shop fabrication
- CNC Machining, Injection Molding and Sheet Metal Fabrication is required
- Familiarity with some combination of FDA/ISO and IEC standards (ISO 14071, IEC 61010, 60601, and 62304).
